I came up with the idea for this post after reading so many blogs who feature amazing makeup products. I have seen loads of YouTubers show their makeup collections but I can’t say I have seen many bloggers show theirs. If you are a beauty blogger reading this I encourage you to do the same! Feel free to tag me on Twitter (@hayleyxmartin22) and I will have a read of your post. I love seeing what makeup products other people own and what their favourite products are in their whole collection.
Urban Decay Naked Palette
This was the first palette I purchased after trying a MAC custom quad. There was so much hype around these palettes that I knew I needed to try it. I can’t remember when I purchased this, it was definitely a couple of years ago. This is my favourite eyeshadow palette, but as you can see I haven’t used the darker shades as much. I was looking at the Tartelette in Bloom palette but some of the shades looked purple, even though the website makes them look brown, which I won’t use. But, they have now released the Toasted edition of the palette. Should I get that or is the Urban Decay Heat palette worth it? Let me know your thoughts!
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
I purchased this palette a year and a half or maybe even two years ago. For me, this is one of those palettes that looks absolutely gorgeous online and in other peoples photos, but I feel that the cooler tone of this palette isn’t for me. I do love the highlight colour in this though and some of the others but I definitely don’t use it as much as I would have hoped. I tend to mix a lot of these with the original Naked palette.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit – Gleam
My friend purchased this for me last year, for my birthday. I absolutely love this palette and I’m so glad my friend got it as it’s something I don’t think I would have purchased myself. This palette really got me into highlighting and I love the different types of shades you get. I won’t be buying any highlighters anytime soon that’s for sure. I definitely recommend trying the ABH Glow Kits.
Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot
I just looked up when I purchased this, IT WAS THREE YEARS AGO. From a makeup hygiene point of view that is pretty gross. On the other hand, look how long it has lasted! Definitely worth the money. I will be looking out to see if these go on sale around Christmas time. This kit has everything you could possibly need, from daytime to deeper nighttime blushes and of course Benefit’s Hoola bronzer.
