One of the things I love about Autumn is being able to stay home, cuddle up with some snacks, watch TV and not feel guilty about it. If you love films & TV I am sure you will agree that watching something in high quality makes a big difference to the viewing experience. You are really able to immerse yourself into the environment and enjoy the story-line and special effects.
This post is a collaboration for the launch of the new Panasonic 4K TV range. The new line of televisions will rival the viewing experience delivered at the cinema. Also, the picture quality is designed to be accurate in relation to the original version. The technology behind these televisions deliver a high quality, sharp image. The models have been designed to look sleek and are adjustable to fit any living environment. With Halloween fast approaching, what better way to celebrate the season than by having a horror movie night. Who doesn’t want to watch their favourite films & tv shows in the comfort of their own home with the quality you get at the cinema?
Here are some of my favourite horror films:
(Some of these probably fall into the thriller category. If I haven’t listed something, I most likely have not seen it – leave your favourites in a comment!)
- Insidious 1 & 2
- The Conjuring 1 & 2
- Sinister
- The Cabin In The Woods
- Split
- The Hills Have Eyes
- Wrong Turn
- The Descent
- Final Destination (All Films)
This Halloween I plan to visit Thorpe Park for Fright Nights. Throughout Halloween Thorpe Park have special attractions for Halloween, most of these are live action mazes. It is scary but so much fun, definitely my favourite way to celebrate Halloween. I also have some friends hosting a Halloween house party this year, I am not normally into dressing up but I think I am going to this year.
What are your favourite Horror films?
Do you have plans for Halloween?

Insidious 1 was like the best horror movie I feel like. But that new movie IT came out, and that one comes close. But horror movies are really good when you can actually see what’s coming at you, instead of having it be a dark room and the person knows somethings in there, but they still don’t turn on the light.

Yes, I agree Courtney!! I haven’t seen IT yet – I have heard mixed reviews about it but I think it looks okay from the trailer. I’ll have to watch it when it comes out on Netflix/NOW TV xx
