We all have those days when we are feeling a little bit down. Sometimes, there isn’t even a real reason for it. I want to share with you my favourite ways to lift my mood and start feeling happy and motivated again. These are all dependent on the situation and how you feel – hence some of these may be conflicting, but I am not suggesting you do them all. You can also use these methods if you just want to feel relaxed and gain a better mindset. I hope this post helps whatever you are going through in your life and you are able to feel happier. I have left my contact details at the bottom of this post if you want someone to talk to.
20 Ways To Get Out Of A Rut
- Make Time For Things You Love!
- Drink Water
- Read A Book
- Exercise
- Take A Bath – Use A LUSH Bath Bomb
- Use A Face Mask
- Socialize!
- Get An Early Night
- Listen To Music
- Go For A Walk
- Watch A Film
- Treat Yourself To Something New
- Bake!
- Pinterest – Get Inspired
- Read A Self Help Book
- Plan A Trip
- Clean Your House
- Go For A Drive
- Create New Short & Long Term Goals
- Get Your Hair Done – New Cut/Colour
Sometimes a couple of these things work for me and I will start to feel better instantly. Other times it may be that I spread out these things over a longer period of time to get out of a rut. My main advice is to focus on doing the things you really enjoy. If there are things on your mind, make sure you talk to someone about them, don’t let your thoughts build up inside your head. These are good ideas. All the things you listed make me feel good. I just love using lush bubble bars when I take a bath, it makes the water a really pretty color, and creates lots of bubbles.
