Yankee Candle A/W 17 | Brand Spotlight

If you are following my Blogtober posts you will know that once a week I am sharing the latest items from my favourite brands. Grab yourself a hot drink and take a look at Yankee Candle’s new/seasonal scents. I love candles all year round but there is something so nice about lighting a gorgeous smelling candle in Autumn and Winter. Yankee Candle is my favourite brand that is easily accessible in the UK. If only we had Bath and Body Works.

YANKEE CANDLE BRAND SPOTLIGHT

Yankee Candle A/W 17

The first two scents I have picked out are from the new Gold collection. These candles look gorgeous they are packaged in the normal glass jar, but the glass is black and has a floral pattern on it. They look really luxurious. These are slightly more expensive than the normal scents, I would definitely smell these in store before purchasing one.

Golden Amber

This sounds like a perfect scent for cooler months. It is described as an oriental note mixed with woody tones. Top Notes: Black Pepper, Clove and Tonka Bean. Mid Notes: Ambery, Rose Frankincense. Base Notes: Vanilla, Patchouli and Cedarwood.

Golden Orange Blossom

This scent is described as a mix of neroli and bergamot which then evolves into a vanilla musk. Top Notes: Neroli, Petit Grain and Bergamot. Mid Notes: Jasmine, Hyacinth and Orange Flower. Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Woody.

These next scents are from the new Cookie Swap range. This is a limited edition range and is separate to the Christmas range so I don’t know how long these will be stocked for. If you are looking for something that isn’t too Christmassy but looking for a seasonal scent, this range is perfect.

Magic Cookie Bar

This candle is a mix of Chocolate, Coconut Flakes, Brown Sugar and Butterscotch. I really want to smell this one it sounds perfect. I love the mix of the coconut with the other sweet scents. This will make your house smell really nice.

Iced Gingerbread

If you aren’t a fan of gingerbread this one isn’t for you. This candle smells like spicy gingerbread cookies with icing. The perfect autumnal scent to make your house smell like baking.

Finally, here are my picks from the Christmas collection. I have had one of the Yankee Candle advent calendars before but cannot remember which scents were my favourite. Overall I really enjoyed it, If you are looking for an advent calendar this year, check out Yankee Candle.

Christmas Cookie

If you cant tell already I absolutely love sweet scented candles. This candle smells like vanilla Christmas sugar cookies. Top Notes: Creamy Vanilla Bean. Mid Notes: Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Sugar. Base Notes: Vanilla, Butter and Baked Notes.

Spiced White Cocoa

I read the notes of this candle and was sold when I saw Salted Caramel was one of the scents. This candle smells like cocoa with whipped cream and a hint of nutmeg. Top Notes: White Cocoa. Mid Notes: Salted Caramel, Sweet Cream and Nutmeg. Base Notes: Butterscotch.

Christmas Memories

This candle is the mix of all the best seasonal things bringing together both spicy and sweet scents. Top Notes: Cinnamon Spice. Mid Notes: Sugar Cookies. Base Notes: Warm Vanilla.

There you have it my picks of the new Yankee Candle collections. I hope it has given you some inspiration for new candles. What are your favourite candles for Autumn and Winter?
